How to Access the Math Center Tutoring Services

For available online tutoring services for the Math Center Monday - Friday, students enrolled in one of the above math lab courses will have access to available Math Center tutors through the Math Center Canvas Shell. Please follow the steps listed below as a guide to access the Math Center.

  1. Students must be enrolled in a CRC math lab course (Math 70-79) during the semester for which they would like to access the Math Center services.
  2. After enrolling into a math lab course, the Math Center canvas shell will be available as a course through the student’s canvas account.
  3. Go to Courses on the Navigation bar and select the Math Center canvas course.
  4. After arriving in the Math Center canvas page, students will need to check-in to record their hours by completing the Lab Check-in and Out form. Only hours recorded through this check-in and out process will be counted towards the student’s positive attendance/hours of completion. The Lab Check-in and Out link is available on the course Navigation Bar on the left hand side of the page.
  5. After the student has checked in, to access a Math Center Instructional Assistant, Staff Tutors, and Math Faculty, the student will need to select the “Math Center Tutor” link on the navigation bar.
