Speech recognition and dictation software are designed to fully utilize the computer through speech, essentially making the computer fully functional without the need for a keyboard and mouse.
Typically, speech recognition and dictation software are used by individuals with hand or upper limb impairments, making it difficult for them to use a keyboard and/or mouse.

Equatio is a speech recognition and dictation software that allows users to create equations, formulas, and more, digitally, to help make math and STEM classes more accessible and engaging.
