EOPS students are required to meet with an EOPS counselor to fulfill the 1st Contact requirements. If you don’t complete all three contacts you will be removed from EOPS by the end of the semester.
1st Contact Timeframe: 1st Contact appointments must be completed beginning Monday, January 29, 2024 and no later than Friday, March 1, 2024.
Please note: Counselors for the EOPS, CARE, NextUp and Guardian Scholars programs are only available to serve students who are active in these programs. Students not in these programs will be redirected to the General Counseling link or phone number, so that the appropriate appointment can be made.
To make a video or phone appointment with an EOPS counselor you have several options:
Option 1: Call
Call us at (916) 691-7365 and leave a voicemail that you'd like to make an appointment and leave your name, student ID, contact number, and what date/time you'd like to make the appointment.
Option 2: Email
Email us at CRC-EOPS@crc.losrios.edu to request an appointment. Please be sure to include your name, student ID, contact number, and what date/time you'd like to make the appointment.
Option 3: Stop by our office
Drop by our office in-person in the College Center, 2nd floor, room 254 and request an appointment. Please be sure to include your name, student ID, contact number, and what date/time you'd like to make the appointment.
Be sure to schedule your appointment within posted timeframes and deadlines.
Appointments held after posted deadline dates will not be counted toward your Contacts.
