How to Apply
The HIT and Coding Specialist Certification application opens once a year, in the spring semester. Applicants will be applying for the following semester and be part of a new HIT cohort started in the fall.
Spring 2024 dates and deadlines:
- Application open date: February 9, 2024
- Application deadline: April 15, 2024
To be accepted into the HIT program, students must have completed all required prerequisite courses. The prerequisite courses ensure that the students have acquired the necessary knowledge to be able to move through the program without delays. Students will hear back about application status no later than April 19, 2024.
Additionally, students are encouraged to take their STAT 300 course in their first semester of HIT courses.
Note: The application experienced a technical error on February 9 which prevented the uploading of supporting documents; if you submitted the application before 2:00 pm PST on February 9, we encourage you to submit again to ensure your supporting documents are received.
