The fall 2022 semester starts August 20 and ends December 15. Grades are due January 3, 2023. The census date for classes is September 6.

Application Dates

The CCCApply application period for fall 2022 opens on October 1, 2021 and closes on the last day of the semester. Check the following dates to find the last day to enroll in classes during each session of the fall 2022 semester.

Other Term (Dates Vary)

Other Term classes are not held during a regular term session. They are typically short-term classes that meet for just a few days or weeks.

The deadline to add an Other Term class via eServices is the first day of the class. To enroll in an Other Term class after the first day of class, you must go to the Admissions and Records office within the first week of the class.

Deadline dates are calculated based on mandated formulas directed by the State of California and the Education Code (Title 5).

Graduation Petition Deadline

The deadline to submit a petition to graduate is Friday, October 7, 2022.

Our offices are closed and there are no classes on the following days.

Important Election Dates

The following are election-related dates and events.

September 20	National Voter Registration Day
October 10	Counties begin offering early voting sites for the general election. Find an early voting location.
October 24	Last day to register to vote online or by mail ahead of the general election
November 1	Last day for county elections officials to send a registered voter a vote-by-mail ballot for the general election
November 8	General Election Day – polls are open throughout the state from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.
