Historically, community colleges have been supported primarily by tax dollars. Today, however, donations from individuals like you are essential to sustain and grow the quality and completeness of educational services to our students. At Cosumnes River College, our focus is on the student; whether preparing them to transfer to a four-year institution or training them for jobs within the local community, we help them to achieve their goals and realize their dreams.

We hope that after you visit our website, you will consider an investment in our college and in the future of our students and our community. Through the creation of a supportive learning environment, our goal is to advance our students’ dreams, and in turn, advance the economic, social, and civic goals of our community.

As we approach our 50th Anniversary, it is with pride and enthusiasm that we look to the future of education in our community. Thank you for joining us on this journey.

Sincerely,

Edward Bush, Ph.D.

About Us

The Cosumnes River College Foundation was founded in November of 1983 as an auxiliary arm of the larger Los Rios Colleges Foundation, a non-profit tax-exempt California corporation. In September 2018, the CRC Foundation officially changed its name to the Office of Philanthropy. This new name better reflects the purpose and spirit of our work to bring together individuals, businesses, community organizations and foundations who have a desire to have meaningful impact and change students’ lives in a profound way.

The Office of Philanthropy:

  • Promotes the college as an outstanding educational facility and a community center
  • Establishes scholarships, grants and other assistance for students
  • Raises funds for the betterment of the college, its facility and programs
  • Encourages donations of all kinds in support of the college

To Discuss A Specific Gift Idea or Schedule a Tour

The Office of Philanthropy welcomes all gifts and the thoughtfulness they represent. We know that larger gifts often require careful planning for both the giver and the College and we are ready and eager to meet with you privately to discuss a specific gift that you would like to make. If you are ready for such a discussion, please contact us:
