About Us
The Cosumnes River College Foundation was founded in November of 1983 as an auxiliary arm of the larger Los Rios Colleges Foundation, a non-profit tax-exempt California corporation. In September 2018, the CRC Foundation officially changed its name to the Office of Philanthropy. This new name better reflects the purpose and spirit of our work to bring together individuals, businesses, community organizations and foundations who have a desire to have meaningful impact and change students' lives in a profound way.
The Office of Philanthropy:
- Promotes the college as an outstanding educational facility and a community center
- Establishes scholarships, grants and other assistance for students
- Raises funds for the betterment of the college, its facility and programs
- Encourages donations of all kinds in support of the college
