Safety Requirements Updated April 29, 2022

Cosumnes River College and the Division of Arts, Media, and Entertainment are committed to providing healthy and safe facilities for audiences, performers, volunteers, and staff.

In the interest of providing the safest environment possible for all, CRC's Recital Hall, Black Box Theatre, and Art Gallery will continue to require the following:

  1. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination for all event attendees 12 years of age or older. “Fully vaccinated” means the final COVID-19 vaccine dose is administered at least 14 days prior to arrival at the venue. Children under 12 and those who self-attest to a medical or religious exemption may provide a negative test result, see number 2 below for testing requirements. A booster is not required.
  2. If not vaccinated, COVID testing is required for all event attendees 2 years of age or older. To enter the venue please present a negative PCR test OR a negative Rapid Antigen test. CDC approved Rapid Antigen home test results are now accepted. Results can be provided in the form of a photo on a cell phone, a CDC approved mobile app, or you can self-attest to the date/time you administered the test, manufacturer and expiration date of test, and the result.

Attendees will be required to:

  • covid ID Show proof of vaccination with one of the following: CDC Vaccination Card, photo of the vaccination card on a cell phone, or State of California digital COVID-19 vaccine record using the My Vaccine Record App.

  • photo IDTo show proof of vaccination or negative COVID test result, patrons must also bring a photo ID matching the name on your vaccine record or negative test result. A photo ID will not be required for minors who are accompanied by an adult. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your event to allow the staff to check proof of vaccination before the event's starting time.

  • face maskMasks are strongly recommended, but not required in all Los Rios facilities, regardless of your vaccination status. This includes CRC's Recital Hall, Black Box Theatre, and Art Gallery. Los Rios strongly supports any patron, volunteer or employee’s choice to continue wearing masks if it makes them more comfortable. For those wearing masks, public health experts continue to recommend using masks such as N95, KN95, or surgical masks that offer the best fit and filtration.

The COVID-19 pandemic is fluid and ever-changing. Current safety protocols will be re-assessed on an on going basis and may be modified at any time as circumstances, public health regulations and federal, state, and local guidelines may evolve.
