Not all computer labs are currently open. However, some computer labs can be accessed virtually!

To access the virtual computer labs, start by installing software on your computer.

Computer Lab Quick Start Guide

Once correctly installed, students can choose one of the labs on the list. Labs available to you may be different depending on the classes and schools you are currently enrolled in.

There are no time restrictions to access virtual labs.

Logging On

Your "User Name" is W followed by your student number (w1234567).
Your password is your Unified Password, the same one you use for eServices, Gmail, and Canvas.

If you need to change your password, please visit the Los Rios password management page.

WiFi

Printing

Computer Labs Open to All Students

Campus Computer Lab

The Campus Computer Lab is open to all CRC students. The lab has computers, a scanner, fee-based printing and copying, and a typewriter. Location: Learning Resource Center, LRC 204.

Library Computer Lab

Open to all CRC students. Location: Library Building, between second and third floors, main CRC Campus. Please see Library for updated hours and contact information.

Welcome Center Computer Lab

Elk Grove Center Computer Lab

The Elk Grove Center computer lab is equipped with computers, printers, and a scanner/copier for general student use. See the Elk Grove Center page for updated hours. Location: Elk Grove Center Learning Resource Center, EGA 204. Contact: (916) 525-4318.

Tutoring Labs

Tutoring Center

The Tutoring Center provides tutoring for students who need academic assistance outside the classroom. Please visit the Tutoring Center page for updated hours and information. Location: Learning Resource Center, LRC 216

Reading and Writing Center (RWC) at CRC

Students may use the RWC whether or not they are currently taking an English class. Please visit the Reading Writing Center page for updated hours and information. Location: Learning Resource Center, LRC 203.

Math Center at CRC

This is a tutoring lab for students in designated math courses. Please visit the Math Center page for updated hours and information. Location: Learning Resource Center, LRC 205.

Accounting Lab

You must be taking an Accounting class to use this tutoring lab. Please visit the Accounting Lab Tutoring page for updated hours and information. Location: Learning Resource Center, LRC 216.

Business and Computer Science Lab (BS 145-A)

BS 145-A is a place for Business and CIS students to study and find assistance online or in-person.

Location

To access the virtual computer labs, students need to install software on their computers.

Once correctly installed, students can choose the CRC-BCS lab, or one of the other labs.

It may take some time to load, but you should be able to access the installed software just as you would in the physical lab. If you do not have the software at home, then this is a great solution!
