At the Hawk Cares Center, we are committed to promoting a sense of belonging and justice. Through a holistic approach, we offer basic assistance and referrals to address essential needs like food, housing, and financial security. Our goal is to ensure that from the first contact, enrolled students gain access to crucial resources and are connected to long-term support to achieve their goals.

The Hawk Spot Food Market
The Hawk Spot Food Market provides food and necessities for students experiencing food insecurity. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of three units at CRC.
Homes for Hawks
Homes for Hawks serves as a housing resource hub to current and future CRC students including emergency hotel, deposit reimbursement, utility assistance, and more.
The Hawk CARES Career Closet
The Hawk CARES Career Closet provides suits and professional clothing to students to prepare them to enter the workforce. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of three units at CRC.
CalFresh
CalFresh (formerly known as Food Stamps) is a nutrition program that helps students and their families buy healthy foods. Learn how to apply for CalFresh benefits.
