Run for 2024-2025 Office
Enrich your college experience and get involved with the Associated Students of CRC! The application period for candidates begins March 4. The application deadline is April 2 at 5:00 pm. Late applications will not be accepted.
The information provided here is vital if you are running for an elected office. If you have questions regarding this material or the elections process, then ask before the application is due. Refer any questions to ASCRC Advisor Kayla Anaya at anayak@crc.losrios.edu.
Election Season Timeline
- March 4: Candidate online application opens. See Candidate Application Information.
- April 2 by 5:00 pm: Candidate online application due
- April 3 to 10: Pre-Campaign Orientations
- April 16 to 24: Campaign Period
- April 16 to 22: Candidate Forums, 12:00 to 1:00 pm, in-person at each campus:
- April 16 (Tuesday): ARC Forum in the Center for Leadership and Development, located in the Student Center
- April 17 (Wednesday): CRC Forum in the Winn Center, WIN-150
- April 18 (Thursday): SCC Forum, location TBD
- April 22 (Monday): FLC Forum, location TBD
- April 19: Campaign Expenditure Forms due electronically by 3:00 pm
- April 23 to 24: Rock the Vote event, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the CRC Quad
- April 23 to 24: Election Days, 8:00 am to 11:30 pm. Go to your eServices account, click on Other Resources and then click on the Elections & Surveys tab
- April 25: Supplemental Final Campaign Expenditure Forms due electronically by 3:00 pm
- April 25: Deadline to remove all campaign materials and postings
- April 26: Election results posted, upon verification
- TBD: Leadership Recognition and Oath of Office Ceremony
- July 1: Effective date for new officers of the Student Associated Council

Candidacy Verification and Public Information
Every candidate for election to the ASCRC Clubs and Events Board or Student Senate must complete the online ASCRC Election Application.
The Advisor uses this information to verify that the candidate meets all of the requirements and is eligible to serve as a Student Leader of the ASCRC on the Clubs and Events Board or the Student Senate. Any information provided on the Public Information Form may be shared with the public.
Steps in the Candidate Election Process
- Submit the online ASCRC Election Application before the deadline.
- Once submitted, an ASCRC advisor will reach out to you via email to confirm your candidacy and next steps.
Read the Associated Students of CRC (ASCRC) Constitution, the Clubs and Events Board Bylaws, and the Student Senate Bylaws.
Run for Student Trustee
The student trustee is a districtwide position that represents the student perspective on the Los Rios Board of Trustees and chairs the Student Advisory Committee. Apply to run for student trustee from March 4 through April 2.
Spring 2024 Student Elections
Student elections will be held on April 23 and 24, 2024. Voting is conducted online, from 8:00 am to 11:30 pm each day. Currently-enrolled students can vote for on-campus student association leaders as well as the districtwide student trustee.
How to Vote
Voting only takes a few minutes and makes a lasting impact on your campus environment and student experience! Here's how to cast your vote:
- Log in to eServices on April 23 or 24 between 8:00 am and 11:30 pm.
- Click on Other Resources.
- Click on Elections & Surveys.
- Review candidate information in the Student Voter Guide (which will be published in April 2024).
- Proceed to the voting site – and vote!
