Should I Drop or Not? Understanding Academic Expectations

Are you a new student and this is your first year in college? Did you know that students must maintain Good Academic Standing to stay enrolled in college? That means earning a good GPA and completing classes towards meeting your educational goal. Join the CRC Success Coaches to learn about how your grades and class units impact your academic status and financial aid eligibility. We’ll have a limited number of counselors available to meet with students one-on-one if you’re unsure about staying in or dropping a full-term class. 

Zoom Workshop:

• Wednesday, November 13 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm
  Register for the November 13 Zoom workshop
• Optional meeting with Counselors from 1:00 to 2:00 pm

In-Person Workshop:

• Thursday, November 14 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, in the College Center, CC-154
  Register for the November 14 in-person workshop
• Optional meeting with Counselors from 12:00 to 1:00 pm

We encourage our new first-year students to attend this workshop or students who are experiencing difficulty with their class(es) and are considering dropping.
