Bio: Greetings everyone. I am Traci Scott, Outreach Specialist for Career Education. Since 2015 I have been in the Los Rios district, and it has been wonderful to assist students in learning about the amazing programs available at CRC. I am a first generation college student, and hold a BA and an MFA.

Bio: Hi! I’m Carrie Reyes Cruz! I’ve been with CRC since 2019, and I went through the Los Rios system after I graduated high school. I graduated from Sacramento State with a Bachelors in Studio Fine Art and I’m very passionate about helping new students navigate their way through the higher education process. I’m a first generation Nicaraguan American and first generation college student in my family. I love tabletop games, anime, movies and video games! I’m happy to help, and most of all, welcome to CRC!

Bio: Hi my name is Jeni Alvarado! I have been with CRC as an Outreach Specialist since 2023. I graduated with a BA in Sociology from the University of California, Merced, and am pursuing an MA in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with an Emphasis in Higher Education Leadership at California State University, Sacramento. I am a first-generation student and professional. I have always enjoyed working with students to navigate their college journey and have a passion for working with undocumented students, foster youth/homeless youth students, and first-generation students.

Bio: I was born and raised in the Bay area and moved to Sacramento in 2006 and began my career with the Los Rios Community College District that same year. I have been working with students at CRC since 2015. My passion is to assist students in reaching their educational and professional goals. As a first-generation college student, I understand how the transition into higher education can be confusing and overwhelming. My commitment is to be a steadfast resource for our students in order to assist them successfully navigate their college career path. I am excited to be a soon-to-be graduate of CRC with a Liberal Arts degree and a Social and Behavioral Sciences degree, transferring to Sac State. In my free time I love spending time with my family, traveling and exploring new places. I look forward to meeting you!
