This is her nineteenth year of coaching volleyball, and her
tenth season as the head volleyball coach at Cosumnes River
College. In her ten years at CRC, she has coached nine All-Bay Valley
Conference players and seven Academic All-Conference players.
Minet
coached a combined ten years of high school and junior club
volleyball, primarily in the Bay Area. She served as an assistant
coach at St. Mary's College for three years, 1991 - 1993,
before coming to Sacramento and becoming an assistant coach
at Sacramento City College in 1996.
Now,
Minet is in the ninth season, she sees a bright future at
CRC. Her goal is to prepare her players academically and athletically
for the next level. In addition, Minet's philosophy is to
prepare her players to be successful in life, using volleyball
as the tool.
Minet
understands what it takes to be a student-athlete. After playing
at Ygnacio Valley High School in Concord, she went on to play
at Oregon State University, where as a setter and a team captain,
she helped guide the 1983 squad to the NCAA tournament. Minet
received her Bachelor's degree from Oregon State University
in 1987 and her master's degree from St. Mary's College in
1994.
