This
is Roberta's ninth year coaching at Cosumnes River College.
Prior to coming to CRC, Roberta coached four years of junior
club volleyball, including two years in the nationally known
Delta Valley Volleyball Club. Her coaching duties include
defense, passing and working with the outside hitters.
Roberta,
a San Jose native, began her playing career at Independence
High School. In 1989-90, as an outside hitter, Roberta went
on to play at DeAnza College, where she helped her team place
2nd and 3rd in the state respectively. In 1992-93, Roberta's
playing career continued with an athletic scholarship to California
State University, Sacramento, as an outside hitter and defensive
specialist. Roberta played one season as a defensive specialist
for the Sacramento Stars of the Women's Professional Volleyball
Association. Roberta continues to play competitively.
