In a pitchers dual the Cosumnes River Hawks once again win, over the American River Beavers. This is the Hawks fourth victory in five games. Both the Hawks and Beavers got solid outings from all their pitchers. The Hawks' Justin Estes threw an 8 2/3 inning, 5 K game. Estes only gave up only two runs in the third inning, the Beavers only runs. The Hawks were held to one run through seven innings, but clutch hitting by Ramon Glasgow, Alex Martinez, and Larry Lewis in the top of the eighth gave the Hawks the lead and the victory. read more
