The Medical Assisting program at Cosumnes River College has an average retention rate of 95%, as well as a 100% graduate and employer satisfaction rate, for the past five years. The 2016 cohort had a 100% retention rate.
Students must complete the following courses, with a C or better, prior to admission in to the MA program. Courses may be "in progress" during the spring application semester.

Students interested in applying to the CRC Medical Assisting Program must submit a completed application, unofficial transcripts and a letter of intent to the Program Coordinator. All documents must be submitted in person. Applications and admission information will be available online each spring semester.

Students who have been accepted in to the program will be notified by July 1 and will be required to attend an on-ground orientation prior to the beginning of the fall semester.
