Associate in Science Degree
The Automotive Mechanics Technology Associate in Science (A.S.) degree may be obtained by completion of the required program, plus general education requirements, plus sufficient electives to meet a 60- unit total. See CRC graduation requirements.
General Focus: Courses in the general program are designed to emphasize skills development in efficient diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of the automobile. A wide variety of makes and models of vehicles are used in laboratory practice. Students can enter the General Program in Automotive Mechanics Technology at any semester, Summer, Fall, or Spring. Certificate programs as well as an A.S. degree in Automotive Mechanics Technology are available.
