Study Area
Looking for a quiet place to study or do homework? The Learning Resource Center offers our students a quiet environment.
Study Rooms
We have two study rooms CRC students may use for group or individual use. Each room holds up to 6 people and has a white board. Please call (916) 525-4318, reserve a room online, or make a reservation in-person. Study rooms may be reserved for one hour. Must be a currently enrolled CRC student.
Computer Lab
We have 16 computers, three printers, and a scanner/copier for student use in our computer lab. Printing or copying charges are $0.10 per page for black and white, $0.55 per page for color. Our new system Papercut will accept debit/credit card or cash in person and debit/credit card online! If you are scanning, you may save files to your USB drive or to a shared drive.
Math Center
The Math Center at the Elk Grove Center provides tutors to help you with your math class.
Reading Writing Center
Enroll in the Reading Writing Center for assistance with your classes that require writing assignments. Build life-long reading and writing skills.
Tutoring Services
In addition to the Math and Reading Writing Centers we offer free tutoring in various subjects for currently enrolled CRC students. This service varies by semester. Visit Tutoring Schedule at Elk Grove Center or contact the Learning Resource Center for information.
Library Services
We offer Library Services at the Elk Grove Center. Save a trip to main campus and return a book here. Your Student ID card is your library card. Don’t have a Student ID card? No problem! You can get one at the Elk Grove Center in the Student Services area on the first floor.
General Help
Did you forget something in class? We have a lost and found.
Not sure how to use Canvas? We can help! Ask the Instructional Assistant or student assistant for help with Canvas, printing, and general questions. We are here for you!
Do you need a graphing calculator, webcam, or headphones? We have items you may check out.
EGC Study Room Reservations
Use this reservation system to book a study room at the Elk Grove Center.
