The Math and HCD Learning Community program is designed to prepare you for academic success. As a participant in the program, you will gain knowledge of how to study, have access to vital campus and college resources, interact in a multicultural environment, and develop important study skills, all while taking courses leading towards your career path.

The Math and HCD Learning Community program offers the following:
- Math and Human Career Development (HCD) Summer Bridge Program - NEW!
- Enrollment in desired courses
- A variety of special events designed to enhance your transition to college
- Help with academic planning, personal counseling, and career development
- Strategies for success in college courses designed to introduce students to college life and expectations
- Supplemental instruction designed to support learning outside of the classroom
- A team of professional, caring, and committed faculty dedicated to supporting the success of Math and HCD Learning Community students
To be eligible for the Math and HCD Learning Community program, you must:
- Take the Math assessment exam and qualify for Math 30 (Pre-algebra) or Math 100 (Beginning Algebra)
- Complete the Math and HCD Learning Community application
- Be prepared to fully participate in the orientation and Math Summer Bridge program held during the month of July 2012.
- Be prepared to adhere to the requirements of the program throughout the 2012-2013 school year.
