Aaron Christensen became a member of the Cosumnes River College (CRC) Men's Basketball Program in August 2011. He immediately showed the motivation to be hardworking, dedicate, responsible and dependable, thereby becoming an essential entity to the successful operation of this program. Under the tutelage of Head Coach Giacomazzi, Aaron has been assigned and involved with many facets of the program. Such duties includes, but not limited to helping coordinate player conditioning, helping in handling team practice and game equipment concerns, on-court assistance during practice. Christensen is also involved in working with our student-athletes and faculty to help ensure the academic success of the student-athlete. He helps verify and update established provision for student-athlete to advance to a four-year program after completing their commitment at CRC. Other responsibilities for Christensen include game and practice video, and statistical responsibilities, as well as performing additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Head Coach.
Aaron Christensen graduated from Elk Grove High School in Elk Grove, CA. Subsequent to high school he served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He attended Brigham Young University Idaho (BYUI) graduating with his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science. He also attended Cleveland Chiropractic College-Los Angeles.
Upon completing college and grad school, Aaron, his wife Kaylyn, daughter Avery and their dog Jake moved back to Elk Grove. Outside of Basketball he enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies and golfing.
