Welcome to Medical Assisting
| The CRC Medical Assisting Program will be implementing an application process effective Fall 2012. |
26 clinical and 10 administrative students will be admitted in to the program based on a random, lottery selection process. Students will need to select between the Clinical or Administrative certificates when applying.
Students must complete the following courses, with a C or better, prior to admission in to the MA program. Courses may be "in progress" during the spring application semester.

| BIOL 102 (4 units) | Essentials of Human Anatomy & Physiology** |
| CISC 302 (2 units) | Computer Familiarization |
| ENGWR 101 (4 units) | College Writing (or eligibility for ENGWR 300 through the assessment process) |
| MEDA 100 (1.5 units) | Introduction to Medical Assisting |
**BIOL 100 or BIOL 430 & 431 may be substituted
Students interested in applying to the CRC Medical Assisting Program must submit a completed application, unofficial transcripts and a letter of intent to the Program Coordinator. All documents must be submitted in person. Applications and admission information will be available online each spring semester.

Students who have been accepted in to the program will be notified by July 1 and will be required to attend an on-ground orientation prior to the beginning of the fall semester.
